Grandpaw Tom Killough

This is my Grandpaw Killough! This picture was

evidently taken on Sunday because of the clothes he

was wearing. Very seldom did you see him without

his hat. This picture is most interesting, it tells

a story of his activities as an ambitious man, one that

could build what he wanted or needed. You see the

stripped down frame behind him, that was a sawmill

that he built, he could drive it into the woods, take a

wheel off, attach a saw blade and cut wood right

where it was felled.
