| Bill was an Irish Nomad. He, Bert and their three children lived in almost every part of the Southeast, with the children attending up to 16 different schools. Bill was a baker and an outside machinist. He was allergic to every type of flour and had asthma. He would bake as long as he could (He was a supervisor with Edens Food Store Bakeries in South Carolina, with Holsum in New Orleans and a troubleshooter with Southern Bakeries in Atlanta), and then go back to the shipyards. He retired from Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS. | |||||||||||||||||||
