| Ranald as I remember him: Ranald was stricken with Polio when quite young and recovered to slight limp when he walks. I remember him as being full of life even though his childhood was hard. He was eldest in his family and took on many responsibilities. He loved music, played the guitar and sang with conviction. Give him a flat top guitar and stand back, I thought he sounded a lot like Hank Snow at the time. Ranald played music with many of the greats in country music. As a trade he was a welder and quite good at it too. Ranald was born in North Carolina and resides in Louisiana now. (2003) | |||||||||||||||||||
